C.A.M.P. athlete Alessandro Baù completed several ascents on famous Yosemite and Zion walls. To become familiar with Yosemite granite, he climbed Serenity Crack in the Royal Arches area and some routes on the Cookie Cliff. Then he ascended the Half Dome via Regular Route and El Capitan via Salathé Wall and the Nose.

A storm surprised Baù & Co. on the Nose, forcing them to 36-hour stop on the wall. Eventually they reached the summit where enjoyed a great bivouac before leaving Yosemite to reach Zion and its amazing walls.

«Wonderful Zion!» Alessandro exclaimed. «Red and white streaked walls make a magnificent canyon! We climbed a lot of single pitch routes and three spires: Shune's Buttress with its awesome final crack, Megamahedral with its ever demanding offwidths and Monkey Fingers that features a series of exciting pitches. In the next days, after climbing Tatoween and Mount Kinesava, we'll go to Indian Creek».

Alessandro Baù American dream goes on: stay tuned for the next episode!
